Free-to-Roam eBiking Launches

Electrify your ride with an ebike. Susan Gautsch has a simple goal of supporting active mobility, sustainable transportation and invigorating fun through ebiking. Launched in June, Free-to-Roam eBiking allows people to rent motorized bikes to explore Albuquerque, or just add some fun to your errands. Half-day rentals start at $69. Free-to-Roam also hosts guided tours, including the Sandia Foothills & Brew Tour — biking through the Bear Canyon and Elena Gallegos Open Space Areas, and ending with a picnic and a stop at Boxing Bear Brewing. The cost of the10-mile, 2.5-hour tour is $125 per person. Rentals are available at Bike In Coffee (949 Montoya St. NW) and Boxing Bear Brewing (15201 Candelaria Road NE).
