After winning back-to-back CIF championships in 2018 and 2019, Duke City Gladiator owners Gina Preiskorn-Thomas and Scott Thomas moved the team to the Indoor Football League (IFL) for the 2020 season. Under a new head coach — Cornelius “Pig” Brown from the IFL’s Nebraska Danger —  five-time MVP Dello Davis (WR), Rookie of the Year Anthony Jackson (DL) and four-time defensive player Jayson Serda (LB) are returning. The season opener is March 12 in Frisco, Texas. The first home game, in Tingley Coliseum, is April 4 against the San Diego Strike Force.  For info, visit dukecitygladiators.com.
