Reclaimed Creations

A new temporary exhibit will open at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science on January 10, continuing through May 17. The exhibit, titled “Sayaka Ganz: Reclaimed Creations,” features sculptures made of discarded and reclaimed household objects. Many of the sculptures are made using common items such as spatulas, spoons, plastic hangers and cooking utensils. “If we think of these plastic items as valuable we will naturally waste less,” says Ganz.
